Easy Chili Recipe Video – Sweet Potato & Chorizo Chili

Watch & learn how to make a hearty chili recipe using chorizo sausage, sweet potatoes, and S&W® Chili Beans. This chili recipe make 8 servings, just enough to satisfy your hungry crowd or save for leftovers!

Ingredients:
1 medium onion, chopped (about 3/4 cup)
1 pound bulk chorizo sausage
2 medium sweet potatoes, cut in 1/2-inch cubes (about 2 cups)
2 (15oz cans) S&W® Chili Beans (do not drain)
1 (14.5oz can) fire roasted tomatoes with garlic
1 ½ cups vegetable broth

Directions:
In a Dutch oven or deep 12-inch skillet cook onion and sausage over medium-high heat 8-10 minutes until sausage is no longer pink. Drain excess fat. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 20-25 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

Serving Suggestion:
This chili is delicious topped with queso freso cheese and green onions.
