Sometime this way of meat cooking was brought to India, Goa by the Portuguese. The dish was called Vindaloo (vinho de alho – garlic wine) after the marinade in which meat was soaked. In India spices were traditionally added and the dish became Indian and in time famous. We offer you to cook a beef vindaloo and see its amazing taste.

• boneless beef, neck – 2 lb /800 g

• onion – 5 oz /150 g
• chili pepper – 1 oz /35 g
• tomato paste – 2 tbsp
• beef broth (chicken, vegetable) – 2 cup /500 ml

• ground black pepper – ½ tsp

• white wine vinegar – 2 fl oz /50 ml

• red chili flakes – 2 tsp
• sweet paprika – 1 tsp
