Chilli Gobi is a popular starter/snack recipe from the house of Indo Chinese cuisine. Chilli Gobi has a crispy texture with a spicy, sweet and sour taste. The cauliflower florets may or may not be batter-coated, deep fried and then mixed with stir-fried spring onions, capsicum (green bell pepper), soy sauce, vinegar, sweet red chilli sauce, salt and pepper.
I have not batter coated the florets to keep it crispy, as we intend to devour the dish after a certain amount of time lapse.
So, if one wants or will consume the dish just off the flame, then please go ahead & batter coat, then fry twice, before encapsulating it within the sauce.
As per my experience, time delay turns any batter fried item soggy, if not consumed immediately.
