SIMPLE CHILI RECIPE *FOOD FRIDAY 30*

1 pounds fresh ground beef
1 quart tomato juice
1 (29 ounce) can crushed tomato
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can of black beans
1 medium onion , chopped
3 stalks celery, diced
1 small green pepper, diced
1/4 cup chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon each: black pepper, oregano, sugar
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
brown the meat and drain. Add the remaining ingredients and drained meat into a pot or crockpot. Cover and let simmer for 1 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. I highly suggest placing in the crockpot on low for the 4 hours 🙂 gives it time to really absorb the seasonings!
