In this video we will show How to make Restaurant style Butter Chicken at home. Butter Chicken is one of the most popular Indian chicken recipes liked by all. So watch and learn how to make best butter chicken at home.

The following recipe will serve 2-3 people.

Here I am including Ingredients and method together:
Step 1: Chicken Marination
2 Tablespoon of Yogurt
1 Tablespoon of Ginger Garlic paste
1 Tablespoon of Lime Juice
1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
1 Teaspoon Chat Masala
1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Kashmiri Mirch
1 Teaspoon Kasoori Methi(Fenugreek leaves)
2 Tablespoon Mustard Oil

Mix all the above ingredients; then add

400 grams Boneless Chicken cubes
1 Teaspoon Salt to taste

Mix the chicken with all the spices and then keep it in refrigerator for 2 hours to marinate.

Step 2: Cooking the Chicken
5 inch Skewers(7-8) – soak in cold water for 10 mins
3-4 Chicken cubes per skewer
Bake for 20 mins in Air Fryer
Alternatively, you can use any iron pan(15 mins) or traditional oven(400 F 15 mins) to cook the chicken.

Step 3: Prepare the gravy
On low medium heat add the following in order:
2-3 Tablespoon butter
1 Bay leaf
1 inch Cinnamon stick
3-4 Green Cardamom
3-4 Cloves
2-3 small slices of onion ~ 50 grams
4 medium size Tomato cut into dices
1 inch Ginger
3-4 Cloves of Garlic
1 Green Chili
1/2 Red Chili Powder(per taste)
10-12 Whole Cashew nuts
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 small cup of water

Cook in low medium heat for 5-7 mins
Let it cool down for 5 mins
Churn it into a fine paste
Take a strainer and strain it thoroughly

Step 4: Final Step!! Make the Butter Chicken
On medium to high heat, add the following in order:
4-5 cubes of Butter ~ 50 grams
1 Teaspoon Ginger
1/2 Green Chili
Gravy from Step 3
Simmer over High Heat for 3-5 mins
Add the cooked Chicken from Step 2
Mix the Chicken and gravy and Simmer on Medium heat for 5 mins; then add
2 Teaspoon Kasoori Methi(fenugreek leaves)
1 Teaspoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt per taste
3 Tablespoon Heavy Cream
Cover it and let it boil for 2 mins

Garnish it with
Heavy cream(1 Teaspoon)
1 Teaspoon Julienne Ginger and
Cilantro(coriander leaves)
Butter Chicken is ready to be served!

This goes best with white rice or nun.
