Ingredients-
āJust bareā chicken nuggets- fills a quarter sheet pan
Soy sauce- 2 tbsp
Ketchup- 2 tbsp
Gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)- 2 tsp
Brown sugar- 1 tsp
Chili powder- 2 tsp
Rice vinegar- 1 tsp
Oil- 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Onion- Half
Bell pepper- Half
Sesame seeds to garnish
Method:
Place the frozen chicken to fill a quarter sheet pan and bake it in the oven at 375 degrees for 40 mins or till itās golden brown and crispy on the outside. While the chicken is cooking in the oven, letās prepare our sauce. In a bowl, add the soy sauce, ketchup, gochujang, brown sugar, chili powder and rice vinegar. Mix all these ingredients really well till blended.
Set the sauce aside and check on your chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, take it out of the oven and keep that aside. Now in skillet, add oil, ginger-garlic paste and cook it for a couple of mins. Then add in your onions and green bell pepper. You can use red or yellow bell peppers too, whichever you like. Cook it till the onions turn translucent, then pour in the sauce mixture and cook it for another few minutes. Then turn off the burner and add in your baked chicken. Stir it well till the chicken is completely coated with the sauce. And there you have it, a super easy chili chicken.
