Chilli Fish Recipe By Tasty Temptations
Ingredients For Cleaning Hamour Fish:
-Salt- 1 Pinch
-Turmeric Powder-1/4 Tsp
-Vinegar-1 Tbs
Ingredients for Chilli Fish:
Boneless Hamour Fish Fillet-300 Grams
Marinate With:
-Salt-1/2 Tsp
-Red Chilli Powder- 1/2 Tsp
-Ginger Garlic Paste(Watery)- 1/2 Tsp
-Freshly Squeeze Lemon Juice- 1 Tsp
Batter/Mix To Be Added To Marinated Fish Cubes:
-All Purpose Flour – 1 Tbs
-Cornflour-2 Tbs
-Black Pepper Powder- 1/4 Tsp
-Egg White – 1
-Salt- 1 Pinch
Sauce Mix
-Red Chilli Sauce- 2 Tbs
-Tomato Sauce- 1 Tbs
-Soy Sauce-2 Tsp
-Vinegar- 1 Tsp
Cornflour Slurry:
-Cornflour – 1 Tbs
-Water- 2 Tbs
-Cornflour 1 Tbs Mixed With 2 Tbs Water
-Oil- For Deep Frying And 1 Tbs For Sautéing
Preparation:
-Cut The Boneless Hamour Fillet into Cubes.
-Apply Mentioned ingredients for Cleaning fish after 10 Minutes Wash and Pat Dry.
-Marinate Fish Cubes With The ingredients Mentioned. Mix well and keeps aside for 30 Minutes.
-Add The Ingredients for the batter to marinated fish cubes and mix well.
-Heat Oil in a Wok for deep frying(180 C)
-Fry the fish cubes in hot oil till golden. This Should take around 3 minutes(Heat can be reduced to 160 C)
-Chop the Garlic, Spring Onion Whites and greens
-Slice 1 Green Chilli and 1 Red Chilli, Cube the green pepper and take out petals from 1 Small WhiteOnion
-Prepare the sauce mix.
Process:
-Take a Wok and dry roast sesame seeds 1 Tsp for 1-2 minutes till golden than remove in a plate.
-Heat 1 Tbs Oil in Wok.
-Add Chopped Garlic and Spring onion White.Give a stir.
-Now add the Sliced green and red chili ,Mix and sauté for 15 Seconds.
-Add the green pepper and then onion petals. Sauté on high heat 30 Seconds.
-Add the Fried Fish Cubes, Mix and keep sautéing on high heat for another 1 Minute.
-Now Pour in the sauce mix and mix it well to coat the fried fish pieces.
-Add the CornFlour Slurry and mix it well till it dries up and coats the fish pieces.
-Add Some Chopped Spring onion greens,mix well.
-Add Roast Sesame Seeds and serve hot.
