EASY FAST and WORLD'S BEST Deer Chili

Welcome to Cooking With Chrystal! This Spicy Deer Chili recipe originally came from my mother-in-law, Michele Calvert! Over the last few years, I have altered it to fit our family. Enjoy the video and see below for the recipe!

Ingredients:
4 pounds venison or elk
2 Lipton onion soup mix packets
4 Tablespoons of land o’lakes butter
2 packets of Williams chili seasoning (small packets that specify 2 pounds)
2 cans ranch style beans
1 can pinto beans
2 cans rotel “chili fixins”
1 can hot rotel
1 can original rotel
2 cans hatch green chilis (hot)

Directions:
Pour all canned ingredients into a crockpot and turn on high for faster cooking. Use low if you have several hours.

Get 2 pans out, or use one at a time. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in each pan. Brown 2 pounds of ground game meat. Add 1 packet of Lipton onion seasoning mix while browning. Make sure the pieces are pretty small. Once it’s done cooking, add packet of Williams seasoning. Mix the meat into the crockpot and stir all together.

I always keep extra medium and hot rotel on hand in case it is not spicy enough. Serve with sour cream, Fritos, and shredded cheese.
