Smoked Brisket Chili Recipe on the Traeger | ubbq

INGREDIENTS
1 lb cubed brisket
½ lb bacon
1 onion
1 green bell pepper
1 quart stewed tomatoes
1 can spicy chili beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can chili beans
1 can fire roasted tomatoes
1 c corn
1 8 oz can mushrooms
4 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp ancho chili powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp cumin
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 c cold coffee
1 c beer

DIRECTIONS
1-rough chop & fry ½ lb bacon ends & pieces
2-when bacon is half-cooked, toss in 1 diced onion and 1 diced green pepper
3-slice and cube 1 lb brisket into 1” cubes
4-combine all of the ingredients in a cast-iron pot, or a disposable tin-pan
5-smoke uncovered @ 225° for 3 hours
6-cover with foil and cook at @ 300° for 2 more hours
7-serve with shredded cheese, sour cream & fritos
