How To Make An Easy Hotdog Chili On The Griddle

A good ol’ hotdog is one of my all time favorites and in the south we sure do love some good ol’ homemade chili to go along with it. I made this chili on the griddle but it will work just the same in a skillet. Its got a nice chili flavor with just a touch of sweetness to compliment the rest of the savory flavors. This is a good baseline recipe that can be customized easily to suit personal taste. I hope you enjoy it if you try it! Thanks for watching and let’s keep cookin’!- Garrett the Griddler

Recipe: 1 pound ground beef (Leaner is easier and less greasy overall. I went 80/20 for this cook and it was fine)

Wet Ingredients: 2 cups of your favorite ketchup, 1 tablespoon Mustard, 1 tablespoon worchestshire sauce

Spices: 1 tablespoon chili powder, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 and a half teaspoons of lightly packed brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 cup finely chopped onion (this was about 1 medium onion for me), 1 cup of beef broth (use more if you want to let it simmer longer and/or prefer a more liquidy chili. Use less if you like it thicker. Add it slowly to avoid a mess)
