Rice Pakora/Rice Tikki
Ingredients for Rice Tikki:
Leftover rice 2 cups
Boiled potatoes (grated) 1 ½ cup
Capsicum (chopped) 1/2 cup
Carrot (chopped) 1/2 cup
Cabbage (chopped) 1/2 cup
Green chilies (chopped) 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Green coriander 1/2 cup
Ingredients for Rice Pakora:
Leftover rice 2 cups
Gram flour 1 cup
Green coriander 1/2 cup
Red chili powder 1 tbsp.
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Chaat Masala 1 ½ tbsp
Water as required
Oil (for frying) as required
Directions for Rice Tikki Preparation:
1. In a bowl add leftover rice, potatoes, capsicum, cabbage, green chilies, egg, red chili powder, red chili flakes, salt, black pepper powder, green coriander and mix well.
2. Make a tikki shape and shallow fry them until golden brown from each side. Your rice tikki is ready.
Directions for Rice Pakora Preparation:
3. In a bowl add boiled rice and mash them.
4. Add gram flour, green coriander, red chili powder, red chili flakes, salt, coriander powder, chaat masala, water and mix well.
5. In a wok heat oil ana d add spoonful of pakora batter. Fry until golden brown in color.
6. Your Rice Pakora is ready.
