Cooking Instructions
Toast Cumin until cumin starts to smoke a little. Add ground beef and Italian sausage and brown meat. Remove meat and place into crockpot. Use the render fat to saute your chop onion and bell pepper. Half way through softening your onion and bell pepper add your chipotle peppers and cook with onions and bell pepper. When Onions soften place in to crockpot.
This recipe was cooked on Low for 12hrs. It can be cooked for a shorter time if you add less liquid more like 6-8hrs on low and trim half the time if you place it on high. The more you let those ingredients marinate and simmer together the better it tastes!

1lb of each 80/20 ground beef and Italian sausage
2 TBSP Cumin
1Tsp Cayenne Pepper
2 TBSP Black Pepper
2 TBSP Garlic Powder
2 TBSP Onion Powder
2 Tsp Cinnamon
2 TBSP Sugar
28 oz Diced Tomatoes
28 oz Crush Tomatoes
12 oz Tomato Paste
2 16oz Kidney Beans
1 Red Bell Pepper
1 Yellow Onion
6oz Chipotle Peppers
16oz Lager
16oz Beef Broth
