Kitchen sink chili – Best chili recipe ever

My kitchen sink chili is the best chili recipe ever. It has layers of heat and complex flavors. I’ve been making this one for over 20 years and have perfected it over the years. Server this one at your next football party or if you just want something warm on a cool fall/winter day.

Ingredients:
2 lbs Ground Beef
2 lbs Italian Sausage (sweet and hot)
2 Red Bell Peppers (chopped)
2 Green Bell Peppers (chopped)
2 Jalapeno peppers (diced)
2 Habanero Peppers (diced)
1 Large Red Onion (chopped)
2 15 oz cans Kidney Beans (drained)
2 15 oz cans Pinto Beans (drained)
2 15 oz cans Black Beans (drained)
3 15oz cans Diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes
2 Tbs Tomato Paste
2 Tbs Worchester Sauce
4 Tbs Chili Powder
2 Tbs Smoked Paprika
2 Tbs Cumin
2 Tsp Onion Powder
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
2 Tsp Ground Oregano
1 Tsp Cinnamon
2 Tsp Ancho Chili Powder
2 Tsp Chipotle Chili Powder
1 Tsp Cayenne
1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Salt to taste
1-2 Tbs Olive Oil

Garnish:
Grated cheese
Chopped Onion
Sour cream
Cilantro

Directions:
1. Add 1-2 tbs olive oil to a large stock pot or dutch oven over medium heat.
2. Brown the ground beef and sausage making sure to break it up.
3. Add the spices to the meat and stir to combine.
4. Once the meat is browned through, add the beans and stir to combine.
5. Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste and worchester sauce and stir to combine
6. Add the onion and peppers and thoroughly mix and let the chili come up to a simmer.
7. When simmering, reduce heat to low and let cook for 2 hours or more, stirring every 15 mins or so.
8. Serve with your choice of garnish

**Notes**
– For a healthier option, substitute the ground beef with ground turkey and the itallian sausage turkey sausage.
– Add salt towards the end and adjust to your liking.
– Serve with cornbread that has been baked with cheese inside.
