S2E74 Care for a Cup of Green? (Green Chili for Halloween)

In this video, Ken shows how to make his green #chili #recipe.

This is a very versatile dish that you can make to taste. It is the perfect #autumn dish to make for #Halloween.

KEN’S GREEN CHILI:

1 1/1 lb Ground Meat (Pork, Rabbit, Chicken, or Turkey) or Tofu Crumbles
2 lb Tomatillos, Diced
3 Green Bell Peppers, Diced
3 Spanish Onions, Diced
Diced Green Hot Peppers, to Taste
5 cloves Garlic, Chopped
2 tbsp Cumin Powder
2 tbsp Onion Powder
2 tbsp Garlic Powder
Mexican Oregano, to Taste
2 tsp Marmite, Optional
4 cups Water or Stock
2 cans Cannellini Beans, Drained and Rinsed
Sea Salt, to Taste
@McCormick Spice Peppercorn Medley Grinder, to Taste

Brown out the meat and set aside. Fry out the tomatillos, onions, and peppers. Add in the liquids, the garlic, and the spices and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until reduced to your likeness and taste. Use an immersion blender to puree. Add in the meat, or tofu crumbles, along with the beans. Adjust for seasonings, and serve hot with your favorite accompanying items. Ken recommends corn chips, co-jack cheese, and sour cream.
