Cincinnati Chili Recipe

Ingredients
4 cups of beef stock or water
2 lbs ground beef
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground pepper
2 1/2 cups diced onions
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 16 oz can tomato sauce
3 bay leaves

Directions
1. Do not brown beef.
2. Add beef stock or water to stock pot.
3. Using hands break up ground beef and add it to the pot.
4. Add other ingredients and bring to a boil without lid so steam can escape.
5. Simmer for approximately 2 hours stirring often until chili is thick.
6. After 2 hours of simmering use paper towels to absorb excess grease.
7. Remove bay leaves.
8. Top cooked spaghetti and coney with chili, onions and sharp cheddar cheese.
