I like my chilaquiles crispy but this is nachos. It’s better when they are tossed in a pan when the salsa is hot. This looks like table salsa on chips.
I know I’m a lazy dad when I use canned salsa, chips and leftover shredded chicken… But this… This makes me feel like Michelin chef.

These look more like carne asada chips
I prefer tortillas cut up and lightly fried, then cooked in a smooth dried chile salsa with an egg or grilled steak on the side. This is my quest when searching for chilaquiles: No ready made tortilla chips!

Not gonna lie, they look really bad
That’s a start but if you toss all that (other than beans) in a pan and close the lid then you get chilaquiles. Then add cotija cheese. The sauce looks spot on though
