  1. I don't have a slow cooker but do use a cast iron pot in the oven on low for many hours. It makes a much richer and flavoursome sauce. I also add the tomato paste when cooking onions etc as when you caramelise the puree it also adds flavour and gets rid of the raw tomato taste. Great recipe Scott 👍
