My plants have pale to yellow tips of their seed leaves. 🌱The only true leaves (albeit some are developing the second true leaf) look okay. I heard this could be because of low iron in soil. They are still in Seedling starter soil. Should I move them to potting soil now? If not, when? I originally planted these in the few days before the end of June. Is this natural, and will my seed leaves fall off soon or something? 🍂

You have way more time easily 2-4 weeks before you need to repot. I just repotted my 2 month old plants from 4x4x3 starters to 1 gallon pots and I could’ve waited longer if I needed to.

I wouldnt personally I like to leave any plant as long as reasonably possible without going as far as letting it become root bound so when it is moved it is in the best possible position to deal with any stress from repotting which varies from plant to plant, strain to strain etc
In my experience I always wait for the roots to poke just a tiny bit out of the drainage holes to repot them.
I usually wait til the 3rd level of the leaves or it starts to flower.
You would need to be really careful because they have very little root yet and it is so easy to damage them. I wait until they get a couple inches tall (at least 2 more sets of leaves, more likely 3) before I transplant.

I personally do not understand why anyone recommends using seed starter alone for the first stages. It’s entirely void of nutrients. I started sewing all my seeds straight into the soil it will spend it’s life in and they all do fantastic now. Honestly not really sure what the point of seed starter even is, thankfully it’s perfect for mushrooms but that’s a different sub.
