The shredded beef is easily better than the steak and it’d be great if they made it a permanent option. The overall flavor is good too and works well with the red sauce. I just can’t justify the price. If the combo had 2 tacos it’d at least be reasonable. And you’d still be fine with only 2 sauces. Oh well.

Indeed, 2 of them would have been perfect for the price. I definitely had enough sauce for a second taco. I was worried about the grilled cheese texture, but the added dipping sauce alleviated that. It was definitely worth a try, but I’m not inclined to order it again at the given price.
I was lucky to be in the trial zone a couple months ago. Only 2 bucks, looks like you got lucky and got one that didn’t split 🤣. Even at 2 bucks it was 1 and done for me
Lol I’ve been buying these 2 dipping sauces for years to go with my bean burrito. But now I’ve recently stopped because the side of nacho cheese is $0.90 (and most the time it’s only filled 1/3) and a side of red sauce isn’t free anymore lol now it’s $0.60.
Tried it tonight and it was super good. Mine was jammed with so much meat that it looked like a burrito and was a struggle to fit in the dipping cup
It honestly doesnt even need the shell or cheese. I want that shredded beef in more items on the menu 😩
I was excited for this item, but I’m a vegetarian and it costs $1.20 to swap out the beef for black beans. It’s *free* to do that on the normal tacos.
For the base price of a normal meat one, you *should* be getting two tacos, since they look smaller than the usual tacos. No way I’m buying just one for $4 and adding $1.20 for an option that’s usually *free.*
For how small and how expensive the taco is, I’ll pass 🙁

I personally loved mine. And we can complain about the prices of the sauces all we want, but with the prices of sauces at my TB, if you take into account that you get two sauces, then the taco itself for me is $2.24, which is actually not bad imo.
