Hi, bought two new pepper plants yesterday! If anybody could tell me about them, I would appreciate it. I was reading up a little and it says that they’re hot peppers bu.t then I saw some thing maybe they’re sweet I don’t have a little card that usually comes with a plant so any help would be appreciated! The names of these plants would also be very helpful and what are use for and if they’re toxic to animals as well.

First one looks like a Bolivian Rainbow. Most pets won’t mess with pepper plants, however peppers are in the nightshade family and the leaves are toxic to pets.
Second one is likely chiltepin or related
I would’ve never known that, and I have no idea because I just bought them from a flower store. So I’m going to assume I shouldn’t eat them.
