What did the flowers look like? That should help narrow down if we are dealing with a capsicum baccatum with bishops crown morphology or capsicum chinense scotched bonnet type (something like var. Jamaican hot red)
Also keep in mind that a lot of seed companies keep mixing up âJamaican hotâ scotch bonnets with âjamaican bellâ baccatums. The Jamaican bell isnât even spicy.
