Are we the only psychopaths who prep accoutrements pre-Taco Bell run?

Statistics tell me no, but social awareness tells me yes.

  1. Judging from most pictures that the Poster is eating in their car. I’m going with Yes, yes you are lol.

  2. phr0z3n23

You might as well make your own tacos/burritos at that point.

  3. crypt0_sports

Why are you even going to Taco Bell ?

All that crap is stuff *you should be getting when you order*

  4. joopityjoop

I do this for items like jalapenos or lettuce or tomatoes or sour cream that I do not want to be charged $0.50 each for.

  5. ZaMaestroMan5

Never done it for Taco Bell but used to do this for chipotle. Would order a bowl with tortilla on side so I could add the stuff I like and not have to eat a terribly wrapped burrito.

  6. sofakingclassic

I dont do this but cant say I hate it either. I’m assuming you live in close proximity to a taco bell?

I’m curious what you’re putting this on. It’s mostly the amount that confuses me unless you’re using this for a whole week, other meals, or have a big family.

Lettuce and tomato comes on most of the items you could easily put them on. Onions are a free add-on, but I guess you may prefer red onions. Cilantro makes sense because you don’t get it from Taco Bell. Chips and Jalapenos are probably cheaper to prepare yourself if you have the time. When you’re making your own sauce I question why you’re even going to Taco Bell since that’s the hardest to replicate.

Well, when I was a kid, dad pre cut some tomatoes and busted out the sour cream so we didn’t have to pay for supremes. But if he did all this, it meant he was making his own tacos

  9. 2001sunfire

I got some weird ocd shit that wouldn’t even allow me to do this lmao

Sometimes I throw some bacon in the oven and go out to get some fast food. I’m not gonna pay $1 for a single slice of bacon.

  11. squindalina16

I feel this. Except I’ve looked everywhere for an at home chipotle sauce and have even tried making it from scratch. But it’s never the same 🙁

  12. strolpol

It really comes to the idea that if you’re going to do that much prep work, you may as well just make the tacos yourself and have them be better quality? Like, it’s not hard to make taco meat.

  13. kainhighwind12

Nah. My sister does this as well. Her cell mates love her for it.

  14. DeliciousFlow8675309

If I’m doing all this I might as well just brown some meat and bake the taco shells while I’m at it.

Especially since they sell the taco bell seasoning in stores and it’s pretty spot on.

  15. scrotumseam

The half life of a hard taco is 2 minutes. This is ridiculous. Get some alpastor or asada and make good tacos with this setup.

  16. insidmal

Why would go through that effort and then buy fast food?

  17. JaFFsTer

    I do this with pizza.

PS OP i looked through your profile. Youre pretty good for an amateur

  18. i’m halfway done with my order before i pull back into traffic

  19. ThatsNoMoOnx

OP, I also looked through your posts, and now I’m hungry AF, and I love pretty food, so I’m also going to just propose marriage, too.

  20. happybonobo1

I am coming over now. I will bring the wine!

  21. BearThatCooks

The way I’m not impressed just make it yourself bro

  22. If you need all of this to enjoy Taco Bell you should probably just not get Taco Bell. If you want Taco Bell, I’m not sure why you want a bunch of stuff that isn’t from Taco Bell.

  23. Joe_Bruce

With all this work why wouldn’t you just fry up some meat, heat up some tortillas and call it a day? Why even eat Taco Bell? Ffs.

  24. tylerderped

    Accoutrements?

Slow it down there, not everyone has a fucking masters in English.

  25. themixedwonder

i would just make my own fucking tacos at that point.

  26. KetoIsKool

i put greek yoghurt on my burritos when i come home

  27. No dude, I make my own jalapeño sauce, and adding cilantro to Taco Bell takes it from A to S+

  28. Garginator850

You might as well cook up some ground beef, get a tortilla and make your own food 🤷🏾

  29. TheLifeOfBaedro

ew, why, we go to taco bell because it isn’t real food

  30. Impressive_Ad3846

Eastern NC thing maybe? We do the same for our taco runs, we’ve got fresher produce and more/better sauces in the fridge then Taco Bell can offer.
Shout out for keeping it local with the End of Days Bourbon I spy in the corner, I always keep their gin on hand for cocktails, nothing beats it
