My girlfriend at the time did something similar with McDonalds. She meant to order a mcchicken plain bur accidentally hit no patty. They just sent us a bun.
I literally just had this happen Saturday. Apparently this person wanted extra meat and ordered no meat. And called complaining that we screwed up. No, check your order before you place it.

One of the first times I ever used either doordash or ubereats I did that. It WAS misleading, I thought I was adding extra then I recieved my meal with no sauce which basically ruined the meal (wasnt at home) I was refunded, I even specified it could have been my fault but its just a bad day when you want extra sauce and get no sauce. It was like a chicken Parmigian thing so a chicken breast and spaghetti noodles. So i recieved a bunch of plain, dry, no sauced noodles…. the chicken was alright but it needed that sweet sweet marinara
