their regular cheese sauce is 90% vegan anyway, so honestly if they replaced it with this I wouldn’t mind, then more people would be able to enjoy Taco Bell since 60% of humans worldwide are lactose-intolerant (although of course certain ethnicities are more lactose-tolerant than others)

I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to nuts, I basically have to live with the consequence of cheese if I want it. I’ve tried a few with some vegan friends but most have some sort of nut product.

In my experience, it is really easy to make a good vegan nacho cheese. It’s the vegan solid cheeses that are not great. But when it’s in sauce form is super easy, I’m excited for more vegetarian and vegan options at taco bell. It’s already the best fast food for vegans and vegetarians!
Also if you aren’t vegan I recommend staying in your lane and calming down, no one is forcing you to order this.

I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I’ve often tried dairy/meat alternative and end up liking them more than regular dairy/meat. If I see this, I’m for sure giving it a try!

I work at TB and I got an early taste the other day and my God it was awful. I’m not a vegan but if I was I would not be eating that stuff I think I’d be able to go without the cheese.

A friend of mine ordered it and they gave him the dairy cheese. He asked about it since it had no sticker, and they said, “oh, we don’t have the vegan cheese in stock so we’ve just been giving everyone the normal cheese.” :facepalm:
