Incredible Thai Drunken Noodle Recipe!



Join us as Jeremy takes you through another wonderful recipe from his new book, Simple Family Feasts. This recipe is for drunken noodles, a street food classic from the streets of Thailand!

Ingredients
300g (101/2oz) wide rice noodles
2 spring onions
1 red onion
3 garlic cloves
2 birds eye chillies
Chinese broccoli (kai lan) (swapsies: Tenderstem broccoli)
2 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
bunch of Thai basil
vegetable oil
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
11/2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon chicken stock or water
2 teaspoons sugar

  2. This was my go-to dish when I traveled and could find a restaurant that served it. Now I can't deal with the salt but I've become used to it. Those beautiful chilies….

  3. Sorry this isn't drunken Noodles, it needs krachai and young peppercorn to really be drunken Noodles. Otherwise, it's just stir fried Noodles with chilli.
