Unfortunately, that’s just the prices these days. Those prices are only like $0.50 higher than my local spot. It’s so awful.
The Crunchwrap pricing anywhere is also out of line because it’s basically just two tacos (one supreme Soft shell, one basic Crunchy) with a larger tortilla but half the meat. Or, alternatively, one Crunchy Taco Supreme wrapped in a burrito-sized tortilla.
I know people don’t like hearing it but if you buy items a la carte expect to pay more. Always look to the combo deals. I wouldn’t ever buy a cheesy Gordita crunch by itself as long as the BYOCB is available.
Remember not even a year ago they were making fun of that dude who said his Taco Bell orders were over $20 for lunch.

Never buy a cheesy gordita crunch again….just get a cheese roll up and hard shell taco. Unwrap the cheese roll up and stick the hard shell in there. Add spicy ranch to the hard shell. Tastes virtually exactly the same for half the price.

Yeah the prices are out of whack if you’re buying CGC crunchwrap or chalupa a la carte instead of the craving box.
So, these places like Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Burger King, etc. fail to understand that people mainly went for the prices when they were broke l. If fast food’s this expensive then fuck em’ I’ll eat anywhere since they no longer offer the best prices.
How much is your cravings box? It has those items. In my area this would $6 + fries with an extra soft taco and a drink.

Screw this I just eat at home and buy the essentials now. Unless I get a deal on food at a restaurant or fast food I just make what I can at home.
Assuming I’m correct that this is 60-12 northern Boulevard, the cravings box is only $1.50 more at $7.99, and that’s the point. $6.49 is a decoy price for people who use the app to scoff at, and choose to get the item in a $7.99 cravings box with all the extra food for $1.50
Cheesy Gordita crunch is $4.79 at my local spot.(Gulfport,MS). Don’t know how yall make it, for that price you could get take out at a authentic Mexican restaurant.
Your fault for not getting the cravings box. Probably $7 and you get a special item, a taco, a side and a drink. Just get two cravings boxes and it’s the same price for so much more food

Getting a CGC or crunchwrap outside a box deal is crazy. I saw a person ahead of me order a crunchwrap a la carte in front of me and it hurt my soul.
The locations near me want $2.59 for chips and cheese, $3.89 for fries

I don’t know why anyone ever gets anything other than the build-your-own box. It’s a crunchwrap or gordita crunch, plus another burrito or taco, plus a side, plus a drink. And where I’m at it’s $6.

I get the comments about the box pricing, but I’ve ordered these specialty items for a decade for much less – this is the worst it’s been. A box doesn’t do it for me as I don’t drink fountain soda nor do I care for any of the sides. Plus it’s still nearly $10 for enjoying only two of the items…which is still crazy.
Bro just get a cravings box and add a nacho fry😭
