The first pepper smells like candy and has a tiny bit of heat close to a bell pepper.
The second pepper has less heat than a jalapeno and seeds at the bottom of the pepper. Not really banana pepper-y.

First one looks like a Brazilian fragrant pepper, which matches with the taste and heat description.
Second might be a cross polinated jalapeño.
