Classic Bean Burrito is $1.69 for me, Fiesta Veggie is $2 and Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito is $1. I also enjoy the occasional classic Bean Burrito, but I’ll just get it with the box sometimes. I can’t pay $1.69 for it when I can get a Cheesy Bean for $1 or a Fiesta Veggie for $2.
How do people still not understand that franchises set prices differently based on what is more or less popular?
I’ve noticed the basic “I don’t order Taco Bell often, just give me a taco” items are always a little more expensive no matter how simple they are. You have people that don’t typically order from Taco Bell so they will order items like chicken quesadilla, bean burrito, and soft/hard tacos. Basic, straightforward, and non threatening so the restaurants will charge more for them because the people don’t know any better.
