$4 for a taco? No thanks

Taco Bell prices are absurd. In no universe is anything Taco bell sells $4 except maybe a burrito or crunchwrap. I decided to eat cereal tonight and am going to go to a Mexican taco spot tomorrow. Im so done with fast food price gouging.

Hey man. Thanks for the post. We’re all glad to know you won’t be eating a taco.

Back in my day, a taco was 59 cents! Eat like a king for $2.00.

  3. michaelcreiter

It’s pretty ridiculous that people are willing to pay for this when a full meal is 81 cents more in most places

Taco Bell be like chalupa box (5 items for $5.00)

    –OR–

    2 taquitos for $4.50

I’m not so poor and desitute I can’t afford $4 for a taco so I’ll be sure to try it.

  6. I can go over to best taco spot in my city and get the best taco I’ve ever had for $3 lol

Yea I don’t understand how people are spending money on these at “fuck you” prices. I will buy the $5 box all day but this is crazy.

I’m beginning to think that Taco Bell has corporate plants in this sub, and they are hyping this up. But that’s just my opinion.

For me I’d rather have it at that price than not have it at all.

Honestly, I skipped it. I was tempted because I love eating stuff from their “seasonal” menu, but I was pretty fucking pissed about the price.

Back in my day, a dime bag cost a dime.

Yea rather go to an authentic taco truck and get a real taco for 2 bucks, not a fast food taco for that pricing.

i feel they would make more money if they make the prices reasonable but no…

I thank the people who buy stuff like that at full price, because without them, things like the rewards program wouldn’t be solvent.

Heres the thing that fast food places have began to realize. They for the longest time believed that losing the poorer to middle class people would be devastating to there sales. So they always had value menu items and cheaper items in general. Well Uber eats, doordash, grub hub come along. They started to see that people would spend a ton in fees and spend so much on these services regardless of the price.

After uping the prices on anything and everything they realize who cares if we lose the poorer people. They began to realize they aren’t losing anything in sales and no longer need to cater to the poor and middle class anymore. Its really tragic all around and I see it only getting worse.

The only way this would ever get better is if everyone boycotts them and absolutely does not go there to eat. You would see these prices fall faster than anything.

On my app right now, a crunchy taco is $1.89 and a supreme is $2.89 (a fucking dollar upcharge for sour cream and tomatoes 🙄). The double decker is $3.49, supreme $4.49. Someone please explain to me how they think a small tortilla and a little swipe of refried beans is equivalent to a fucking $1.60 upcharge?

Uber Eats has an exclusive two for one promo on it right now… so 50% off.

It’s absolutely fucking absurd, I really think that they are trying to get their prices in line with being the only restaurant in demolition man.

$4 gets me a ribeye steak taco at the local taco spot. TB is out of their mind

I never thought I would see the day but they have surpassed chipotle.

  19. zaitsev4

I got one for the nostalgia but they are definitely over priced.

Been like that since the Biden Administration got into office… for the last three years… where are you located?

You’re better off visiting your local authentic Mexican restaurant and getting authentic tacos (thats actual food) for the same or less the price. Stop supporting Bidenomics and start supporting local. Fast food is no longer worth it. I won’t even get into the “price gouging.”
