Cook 45min to 1hr at 350 until bacon is crisp.

Hi everyone welcome to my channel my name is Mike today I’m going to try and do a recipe here just pretty much the same as jalapeno poppers but I’m going to use these poblano peppers at least that’s what they said they were called so they’re pretty big so what I have

Here is I have 3 of these which I’m going to empty out so that we can stuff them and then I have leftover taco meat and I have some cream cheese and I’m gonna wrap it all up with some bacon so hopefully this turns out so if you

Want to join me stick around and let’s get to cooking ok so first I’m gonna go ahead I’m gonna add my cream cheese here in the bowl so I can mix it up with the ground beef the taco seasoning or taco leftover talk to me I had get all this good stuff out

There’s that taco meat all right you can use ground beef for your taco meat or ground turkey however all right little chuckle mean I have get this all mixed up here you know cheese might still be the little bit too too cold from the refrigerator but I’ll get this all mixed

Up and bring you right got this all nice and mixed at this point if you wanted to add some more spices make it spicier little add a little more heat I’d probably do it now and mix this real good but my taco meat is pretty pretty

Seasoned up as it is so I’m going to set this aside for now I’m gonna work on the on the peppers so here these now what I’ll probably do with these I’m just going to so these are kind of funny when I picked these at the store I

I’m just drying them Pat them dry with a paper towel and I remember which one was which which lid was which lid boy these are smell really nice I just cut them up and rinsed all the seeds out in the sink under water under running water there’s

Still one left in there and took out if you can see took out all the white that was in here those little veins if you ever cut these open you’ll see white pith out of there so now we are going to attempt to stuff these and see what happens then a lot of

How opinio poppers I’ve just never done this before so let’s see what happens there’s going to be a lot of filling in here compared to the compared to jalapeno popper you can almost just eat one of these four per person get some in there now the one that matches this one I

Drip through and let that bacon crisp up now this is a good example of buy good bacon you know I mean I don’t know what happened I opened his package up and it was just mainly all fat and very little meat so I had to kind of pick and choose

And and think I couldn’t wrap it very nice so always buy good bacon don’t buy the the cheap stuff or big ol lot sale type whatever I mean this would have been good for like crock-pot type things or mix with some beans and you know that

Kind of thing but boy not for this application so I kind of as you can tell stripped as much as the fat that I could off it used only the meat that’s okay it’s still gonna give us some flavor now I’m gonna go ahead and I have some of

This Valentina’s seasoning I don’t I’m sure I can say that on video I guess but and I’m gonna go ahead and just sprinkle this on the bacon for a little bit more flavor hopefully too much of it doesn’t wash away but I think it’ll be okay and we’ll

Kind of get like a crispy bark on it maybe I’m preheating my oven it’s actually preheated already to 350 and I’m gonna cook these until the bacon is nice and crispy and then one that’s that hat when that’s all done I’ll bring you back and let you know how long that took

And there we go that’s going straight in the oven center rack okay it’s been 45 minutes like the bacon crisp up okay inside and losing out too bad so let me plate these up and we’ll give her a taste test okay and there it is just

  1. Brother, that looks delicious. Bigger than a jalapeno yet smaller than a bell, yet the poblano has a different flavor profile. I can envision a few different stuffing options but yours still looked great. I'd definitely have to put this on my BBQ to add the smoke flavor. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Making that now again. I add garlic, red/orange/ yellow peppers sautéed. Then melt my in my philly cheese with potatoes and cooked shrimp along with the meat…It’s so yumm then I top mexican blend cheese on the top cover!!!! Wrap with thick bacon….yummy!!!!!❤️
