Why are my pepper sprouts curling?

I believe I messed up by having them on the heat mat for too long after they sprouted. I’m using a vivosun starting kit.

Could be too much light or dry soil? They won’t have any issue with being on the heat mat for a long time, it would just cause the soil to dry out faster.

That’s just what they do sometimes. I had mine on a heat mat for quite awhile

That’s some strange looking weed you got there

Probably transpiring too quickly. Keep humidity high by dome over them for the next week.

We’re these transplanted to these containers or directly seeded?

They may be doing it to shield from the light until they have more root established. Think of it as not exposing all their solar panels until they are ready. Its normal, no need to worry.

They migt have curled, b/c they were originally stuck on the seed shell during the sprouting process.

I’ve had it happen and no big deal. These are just “seed leaves”. Now if your next sets (“true leaves”) are curling, then you have a problem.

It looks like they are too far away from the light and are stretching toward it.

What’s the rh? I’d pop a dome over them until they’re a bit bigger personally as they love really high humidity.

I’m no expert but it Looks like It may be trying to cover itself from too much light

    Over fertilization?
    Looks tip burn too?

I have the same problem. I know that I exposed them to the light too early, so I put them back in them back under the dome.
