Did you use a cheese sauce or just melted cheese? Because they look kinda dry. Usually nachos have a cheese sauce or a bean sauce with melted cheese
Maybe more cheese and every vegetable has to be finely chopped. Other than that it looks good! Maybe a nice red salsa.
Chop the tomatoes and jalapeño finer. That cheese is fine, add a bit of actual nacho cheese and some green or red salsa so it’s not so dry. Also missing guac.

I would definitely eat them, but surprisingly all the time I spent in Mexico growing up I don’t recall seeing nachos a lot on menus. Is more of an Americanized Mexican good thing. I’m not complaining I love them lol and those look delicious

Don’t sweat the haters I would eat this gladly. Aittle suggestion i like to add refried beans, black or brown work well. You can add green or red taquerilla style salsa and some nice pico de gallo topped with some crema or sour cream. But this nachos looks amazing too! Nice job 👏

I’d eat it, but I also eat lunchable nachos so that’s not necessarily a good sign

No shame but learn to make a nacho cheese it is literally just cheese gravy.. it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than just melted cheese.
It’s funny in central Mexico we only eat nachos at the [movie](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FDe-3qHXsAAS_N_.jpg) theater, and they are just round tortilla chips with cheese and if you like it, jalapeño.
Maybe some bars like chili’s and La Bipo, will have nachos, but they are not that common.
I don’t know if in northern Mexico they’re a more common snack.
Looks good, would eat them for sure. Some guacamole would be a nice complement.
Did you season the meat? If not, I recommend sautéing with onion, garlic, and some spices. Add a base of beans, as someone else mentioned, then add the cooked meat, and top with cheese. Grate it yourself, instead of getting the preshredded stuff. That doesn’t melt as well. Top with guacamole, salsa, tomatoes, etc.
If you know how to make brisket, that’s killer on nachos. And of course, steak (carne asada) or chicken are good options too.
Lastly, check the deli section to see if they have more authentic tortilla chips. They have better flavor and tend to be more sturdy than Tostitos and the like.

Funny because I’m Mexican and whenever i make nachos I think I’m cooking American food.
NExt time use a base of refried beans and manchego cheese instead of that yellow thing, you’ll note a huge improvement on the flavor.
I would’ve done nacho cheese instead of shredded cheese. And added guac and sour cream.
