So we have been picking up any superhot plants we can find, we have a Ghost and a Butch T (pics 1 and 2 respectively). Both plants were very small and in really bad shape when we picked them up…
We repotted and my god they’ve both gone ape, particularly the Ghost.
First chillis just starting to ripen on the Ghost and she’s struggling hard with the amount of fruit she’s growing and our Hot conditions (Aussie here, so late Summer is in full swing).
Really looking forward to harvesting these for my Chilli Oil, doing our best to keep Ghosty alive.
Is the off-red colour normal? Ghosty only began to ripen her first in the last few days but the colour isn’t quite there yet. We’ve had Black Princes for years and they redden really quickly.
Also random question; is it common for a mixed chilli patch to have an accidental cross? We have a fair few different ones all in close proximity.
