Getting ready to run mass spec on different pepper extracts to compare capsaicin vs capsaicinoids in relation to SHU. The problem is when I evaporate the ethanol I am left with a “goop” which I will not put into a mass spectrometer. Next we will try evaporation via rotovap to get a nice powder. If there are any tips on removing chlorophyll that would be appreciated
