Pretty sure these are cayenne peppers but could be anything along those lines
The yellow pot is by far the best plant I’ve gotten
Any advice for harvesting and increasing yeald and ripening rate would be much appreciated
I am considering pruning the longer limb at the back because I’ve heard that this can help

I wouldnt prune anything let the plant do its thing
And congrats welcome to pepper growing it’s very addictive
Plant looks great
Don’t prune. Looks beautiful!
Looking good!
As others already said, don’t prune anything. As for harvesting, it’s good to pick the fruits as soon as they’re ripe (or any level of ripeness you desire), so the plant can start focusing on the other fruits instead of maintaining the ripe ones.
You’re doing great, and have fun growing! 🙂
Don’t prune branches! I personally purge inner foliage leaves that aren’t getting sunlight. Also most of the peppers that I grow start with large leaves then the more mature leaves that come in around flowering/ fruiting are much smaller and compact so I’ll trim back the fatties.
Other than that all you can really do is make sure you give them the right fertilizer every few weeks and put them in a bigger pot for better yields. The bigger the pot the more room to spread roots the bigger the pepper plant will get.
