    I see coloration like this at the nodes of almost all my peppers. Normal.

  3. That’s normal. The purple color comes from anthocyanins, and that’s the plant’s reaction to light IIRC.

    Once you’ve gotten your feet a bit wetter, you’ll discover that there are pepper varieties that can get a similar coloration on their foliage too.

    This is normal, I had some on my jalapeños last season and they grew fine. Even though I did some chaos planting in a 5gal bucket with 3 pepper plants together.

  7. Signs of watering, don’t over water if you water to much it’ll get darker. From my experiences

    Some types have some purple to it, like reapers, while others have none. Some have so much the plant looks black.
