Today I was craving a classic hot dog on the griddle, so we kept it simple! I’ll give you some simple tips for cooking hot dogs on the griddle, great for if you’re feeding a crowd this summer! And I’ll show you my favorite way to steam my buns when I’m using the flat top grill for hot dogs. Enjoy!

Saw a comment a few months back that somebody was surprised that you could put hot dogs on The Griddle and just threw me for a loop as we’ve learned through the gdle group as we learned through the YouTube channel as we learn through the relationships we built with

You guys people are on whole different trajectories whole different levels when it comes to cooking hot dogs is no different not a lot of talking today I’m just going to enjoy a fantastic hot dog right the toppings are endless it really depends on the region you come from

Whether you like beef pork beef and pork whether you like Rippers and Splitters whether you like it spicy whether you like it red hot whether you like with chili whether you want a salad on it coela wrapped in bacon it’s endless right the base of a hot

Dog is what we’re here for today let’s just go after it we got some hot dog buns we got some sausage buns we got some Nathan’s Hot Dogs and we got some Johnsonville cheddar sausages like both of those all right to kick the video off we have a boiling water

Start them off in that hot water um take that juice from the hot dog pack fill it in there and just keep rotating on The Griddle so you don’t have you know maybe like 30 or 40 hot dogs cooked at the same time and nobody’s coming to get

That hot dog is way better than boiled I agree it’s just a hot dog but when done right goly it’s so good it’s that Classic Fair peppers onions a little bit of seasoning and last but not least the one for the haters mix with a mustard ain’t half bad

  2. Try after you grill your brats or sausages rest them in a beer bath with a sliced up onion for some time. Keeps them warm but also gives a little more flavor from the beer/onion bath. As far as toppings go there sure are a lot of haters…must lead a sad life life. EAT WHAT YOU LIKE!

  7. Every time we buy the top-split buns there are at least 2 buns that are split unevenly like the one you had!! I stopped buying them for that very reason. Ever have mayo on your hotdog? If a hotdog is a sandwich, it has to have mayo!

  8. I was always a "NO KETCHUP ON HOT DOG" type of person and it drove me crazy seeing my kids load it up on their dogs, until recently I tried a hot dog with mayo and OMG the mayo took it to another level. So now I agree with FTK, if you like it, then put it on there.

  13. The Silver Springs Beer and Brat mustard is so damn good. It's hands-down my favorite mustard for anything. Such a great bite to it! A good sausage/brat, some kraut, and some of that mustard, and I am set.
