Bad Baja Blast?

Has Taco Bell’s Baja Blast formula changed? Lately it seems like my Baja Blasts just don’t taste good, and they used to be my favorite.

It used to be just one location that seemed to have the distasteful Bajas, so I originally assumed that they had a bad water source or they needed to change their filters. But eventually other locations had the bad Baja until now I don’t even know where to get a good one.

I’ll admit, though, that I don’t visit Taco Bells as often anymore (maybe weekly now, typically Tuesdays, when I often used to visit multiple times a day at multiple locations, before the recent crazy TB inflation cycles). So there definitely might be some nearby sources of good Baja that I haven’t tried lately.

I wondered if perhaps they accidentally switched it with the sugarless Baja (because I definitely don’t like that) but the color of the sugarless looks a little more green, so I don’t think that’s the problem. (I typically sample a bit of the sugarless just to check this possibility.)

I think this may not apply to the Baja freezes, as I’m pretty sure I’ve had good freezes at locations that have had bad Bajas. Do they use a different formula for the freezes?

I guess I should just thank Taco Bell for helping me stop a bad habit, as my wife used to be seriously concerned about my excessive consumption of Baja Blast.

All in all, it’s one less reason to visit Taco Bell.

I’m running out of reasons.
