1/4 cup julienned purple cabbage
1/4 cup julienned mushrooms
1/4 cup julienned red bell pepper
1/4 cup julienned carrot
1/4 cup julienned yellow bell pepper
1/4 cup julienned green cabbage
1/4 cup julienned green bell pepper
2 cups cooked glass noodles
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon brown rice syrup (or maple syrup)
1/2 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1 tablespoon sesame oil

Sautee the veggies in olive oil. Add cooked noodles and then all liquid ingredients. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and black pepper.

  1. I wish my nephews would eat like this. Their favorite is boneless wings, fries and ice cream (9000 calories 9000 MG sodium or MORE, and that is only half of the day). I cannot leave any chocolate candies around because they will eat them all, where a normal person will eat only a few as a dessert.

  2. A lot of good dietary fiber but the cancer fighting portion is a bit far-fetched. It may help you if you have a morbidity towards cancer. But to say it fights cancer is a little bit insane.

  3. I know it has nothing to do with the video , (japchae looks great btw 😋) but you are so pretty! Your smile lights up the screen!

  4. I like that some of your shorts have had the recipe in the comments. Are you willing to share this one? I LOVE noodle dishes.

  5. this looks so yummy but it seems to be low in protein. what protein would you add to maje it a filling meal? kike, I would just have tofu with some soy sauce but I'd like something that actually fits tastewise. thanks 🙂

  6. Wonderful food. I went into our local Asian grocer once, but didn't understand what to get, so now I can ask for sweet potato noodles. I want to make your dishes. As a plant based girl of 85, I do so enjoy adding them to my list of favorites.

  7. Did you just say RM? Oh my goodness! I've been watching your tasty recipes for so long and I never saw a purple aura in your kitchen. I think it's the only thing RM can cook.

  8. I love japchae! Look at that rainbow of perfectly sliced veggies! You’re feeding the eyes not just the tummy!!

  9. I tried these at a restaurant recently, THEY ARE AMAZING. i cant believe i went my whole life without them.

  10. Yumm, my favourite childhood dish! It's been a hot minute since I last made japchae. I recently found some ground mung bean vermicelli so I think I'll try it out to increase the fibre and protein content. I am so hungry now, I shouldn't be watching food porn first thing in the morning!

  11. Just ordered the noodles immediately ( stuff like this had to find in my small town . ) I love rice noodles but need to change it up.
