  1. for the taco one i would have probably used a bog standard ortega taco sauce, bbq sauce is too sweet for something like that.

  2. For the taco, I'd probably use either a very light layer of melted butter or red enchilada sauce if I felt like a bit of a kick. BBQ sauce just does not belong in that recipe at all.

  3. Need to try enchilada sauce instead of the bbq and not bake them so long. Might be good! Grilled cheese looked yummy!

  4. it kinda disturbs me that american nacho cheese doritos are in the red bag

  5. David David David, you need to make your grilled cheese in the air fryer…trust me, best grilled cheese you will ever have.

  6. I love your videos and enjoy complicated and simple videos. i agree that you should also try to make those simple but wacky recipes like thay grill cheese.

  7. I approve of including more simple recipes in all of the videos!! Because if they turn out good, many people could share those recipes and include them in their daily rotation! Most of the lunches I bring to my university came from silly ticktock😂😂

  8. Unfortunately, the texture of pickled pork skin in unpredictable 😩 I grew up eating them chopped up with salt, lime, cilantro, & tomato but you just never know if you're gonna get squishy or crunchy ones. Doesn't stop me from buying them, tho lol

  9. I'm surprised those tacos didn't use a taco sauce, or even like Valentina to coat the outside of the tortillas.

  10. probably should have strained the dorito bloody mary. just let the dorito flakes infuse into the drink rather than drink them up

  11. not on IG. so here's mine!
"Gas Station Special!" (Or, for the 'Walmart Special', which serves 2-3, use a full-sized 14oz bag of chips and double everything else)

    Needs:
-Nacho Doritos (the "extreme flavor" ones are best for this, as the flavor will be subsumed otherwise!) the bigger "individual" bags are perfect (used to be around 8oz I think?)
-1 [spicy] pickle (individually wrapped with juice available at most convenience stores)
-1-2 [spicey] sausage snack stick(s) (3-6oz, pork, beef, or turkey are all fine! I haven't tried vegan options): pick something that doesn't have a tough skin (so no slim-jims) but is generally firm and flavorful, and some grease is a plus, as it'll be absorbed later!
-1 can Cheddar Easy Cheese or 1 jar Queso Dip/Cheese Whiz (about 4-8oz will be used)
    – salt and pepper

to avoid unnecessary dishes, you can make this entirely in the dorito bag by just opening the side, or the top and side, like a walking taco would be; except for a cutting surface, which can be disposable, since nothing here needs a super sharp knife: you can make this with nothing but a butter knife, or even a spoon!

    Recipe:
    -Coarse Crush the doritos
-chop or dice the pickles and sausage (I like a half inch chunk, but you can mince as tiny as relish if you want to, or mix them up! being "sloppy" adds to it!)
-mix them in the dorito bag thoroughly
-add pickle juice a bit at a time, mixing as you go, until you get a "damp mash" that will stick together and loosely hold it's shape when formed, but is NOT a wet mush! (about like you'd want your corn meal to make tortillas, or a touch drier)
-mix in pepper to taste (salt may be needed too, shockingly enough)
-form into a log-like shape in the bag, wrap it up in a towel, and let it sit someplace cool, dry, and airy for an hour minimum (if you let it sit too long and it gets too dry, just add more pickle juice!). Trust me, this thing is almost well preserved and salty enough to take it to sea in ye olden tymes!

right before eating, slather in your cheese sauce of choice and enjoy! other dips are nice too! And a big beverage will be needed, plus make sure to hydrate extra well for a few hours after; it's a LOT of Salt here!

TIPS: If you make it a bit too wet, just let it sit longer to ruminate, letting the excess evaporate. you can actually make it better by deliberately doing this, and letting it sit overnight, or even 24hrs, until it's to the preferred dryness, getting more of the pickle juice taste in there!
-you can also make this a bit too wet before baking or frying them like dumplings, for a totally different exp!

  12. Ahhhh! I’m so glad you did the Dorilocos! Excuse me while I share the shoutout with my entire family.
P.S. I respect your bravery in trying the pickled pork. I’ve never been a big fan, myself. 🫡
