Once upon a time I picked up a starter from Lowe’s thinking it was a poblano. When I got to planting I noticed the tag said Habanero. Double checked the receipt, indeed a Habanero starter. I’ve tried to grow some bell peppers and tobacco before without much success. This year the habaneros are just non-stop (zone 9A). I also had better luck with my bell peppers (not pictured). Is it too late to get other peppers planted? It’s kind of addicting when things just start growing.
I don’t know what to do with these so I’ve been giving them to my family because they all love spicy. Boy are they spicy! I got brave and bit into a green one and I was on fire. This is to say that my tolerance which was once high, then decreased due to digestive issues and then increased again. It’s a roller coaster but I think I’m ready to scale the Scovilles again.
