I just opened my third bottle of Ashes * 2 * Ashes by Karma Sauce, and this stuff is unreal. The heat is undoubtedly up there with the hottest sauces on the market (without extracts) – the same weight class as Regret Reserve, Primo Army, Gator/Reaper Squeezin’s, Garlic Reaper, Fiery Fool, Io Thor’s Hammer, etc.
If you have the tolerance to enjoy such things, the flavor balance is incredible too: very pepper-forward, with just the right amount of acidity, garlic, and smokiness, making it a versatile sauce. It’s also quite sweet, which lures you into a false sense of security while the Primos kick your ass into next week. It uses simple, all-natural ingredients with no frills, and has a thick, hearty texture that flows out of the bottle without clogging.
If you’re looking for a truly kickass superhot sauce, I can’t recommend this one enough. Be careful if you’re not a seasoned chilihead (like no more than a drop or two at a time) or this one will humble you in a big way! 10/10 sauce all around. I’m gonna go slather some on a burger and embrace the sweet agony. 🥵
