Sauce

What hot sauces should I pick up in San Diego?

I’ve been living in Mexico for a year, and while there are amazing hot sauces here (especially fresh ones!) the bottles I can buy are a bit limited. It’s usually these and red and green habanero by La Anita and/or El Yucateco (far right bottle is habanero with pineapple – delicious on al pastor tacos!). Plus black label Valentina and some standard stuff, like Frank’s (love), and Tabasco (hate except for green).

I’m going to be traveling to San Diego in about a month and seeing people post so many different types of hot sauce has made me want to bring some back! If you all could only pick up a few bottles of hot sauce in the US (or San Diego area), what would you bring? I love spicy but not smoky.

By the way, I wasn’t familiar with these specific La Anita hot sauces before I moved to Mexico so I don’t know how available they are in other countries, but they’re absolutely delicious (and spicy!) if you ever get a chance to try them!
