Spicin Foods 142.2 dB Hot Sauce

A few weeks ago I saw someone post about a fire sale on the Spicin Foods website on some short-dated sauces. This particular bottle was for sale for 80 cents I believe, and they also had some three packs of other sauces for cheap that I picked up (haven’t gotten to those yet).

Unfortunately they don’t have flat rate shipping so I couldn’t go hog-wild, but I’m always down for a bargain so decided to give it a go.

Spicin makes the Pain is Good series and this sauce reminds me a lot of those, but I couldn’t find an exact ingredient match so it’s probably a unique blend. It’s a mix of cayenne, habanero, mustard, and some various aromatics and spices.

Taste-wise it’s a little confusing – half Louisiana style sauce half habanero sauce with mustard mixed in, but it’s unique in that way.

Heat level is at the low side of medium, and the best flavor matches I’ve found so far have been on brats and in mixed drinks.
