It’s not really a hot sauce but it’s amazing

  2. barspoonbill

It’s more like a bbq sauce and it’s awesome.

  3. killermoose23

I grew up slathering this on green beans and overcooked pork

Dump a bottle over a block of room temp cream cheese and enjoy with tortilla chips

my grandmother is deathly allergic to fish/shellfish, so this was around over things that contained it. (lea & perrins, A1)

i’d compare it as a distant cousin of A1 steak sauce. allspice forward, bright, spiced but not spicy. damn good in a marinade for chicken.

It’s really good. Not very hot, but so flavorful and such a unique flavor.

This stuff is absolutely amazing with tomato soup and grilled cheese. It’s a very unique flavor profile and I find that once I discover something it goes well with, that thing NEEDS it every time after that.

  7. sgdulac

I like it a lot on things that could be both sweet and slightly spicy.

One of my favorites since I was a kid. I always have some in my fridge, got some now! I even have a backup bottle in case I run out, lol

My granny used this in her BBQ sauce recipe.

I love the mango one on scrambled eggs in the morning.

dang. I used to use that sauce to make beef jerky some 30 years ago.

made some good jerky for sure

If you like that brand, try their Mango!

  13. DrMacGyver

Delicious stuff, but not very spicy at all

  14. Capable_Jacket_2165

It’s not hot but it’s still delicious. The original A1

  15. Chambellan

It’s fantastic to add in marinades, especially for chicken.

Put it on canned smoked oysters on a saltine. Camp food

  17. CaptnNuttSack

I threw a whole bottle of this into a beef roast with all the usual fixins. Thyme garlic pepper salt etc. Blew everyone’s mind at the Christmas get together that year.

It’s great sauce, goes well with extra hot Clancy’s Fancy (from Michigan) for heat

  19. ShakyDalmatian

It’s more like a bangin’ Worcestershire ketchup than a hot sauce, but it’s good stuff.

  20. mklmeier

One of my favorites! It’s like A1 sauce with a kick!

  21. nobuouematsu1

Real simple snack for a party… block of cream cheese with this poured on top and some ritz crackers. It will be gone in 5 minutes

Great on steak and less sodium than a lot of sauces

  23. HematiteStateChamp75

Found two gallons of it at a budget resale store near me for 6 dollars each. Absolutely love it as a steak sauce

  24. TresUnoDos

It’s like my raisins kissed a pepper. Fond memories of this gem

  25. the-coolest-bob

Good with various meats, and also everything made with cream cheese

  26. bandley3

This was one of my favorites for years. My favorite place to use it was in Cup Noodles.

  27. FoxChess

Good flavor but no heat. I used it up as a marinade. I bought it in Puerto Rico. Wouldn’t buy again.

  28. jp_trev

Old school, been around since I was little, and I’m 45

  29. agtexas

I would not classify that as “hot sauce”.

  30. MysteriousStandard68

Great flavor, no heat. I sell it at my ace hardware. When someone says they don’t do hot, I toss them a bottle of this.
