Disappointment at the heat. Tasty, but unless I'm broken, it just wasn't hot. I recently got the 3-pack sampler and IMHO, the Scorpion sauce has a sharper flavor and heat profile.
I threw a good dose of about a half dozen shakes onto a very mild curry (made for my wife w/ zero heat tolerance.)
After a few bites: low flavor profile and low heat. 3.75/10. Went back, threw on another half dozen shakes, and ate one of the drops direct outta the bowl. Here is was able to pick up a bit of the flavor profile, but was still absolutely unimpressed. Still only a 4.5/10.
Went back a third time and threw on a about 4-5 shakes of dried, ground Bhut Jolokia flake.
Heat profile still not above a 5.5.
Now I'm thinking maybe I'm just broken…
Finally, grabbed my Dave's Insanity sauce and threw a blob-sized drop on my last two bites of curry.
Ok, I wasn't broken.
Finally, the heat level was at least a 7/10. Sadly, the curry now tasted like sh*t.
