Tried and bought this hot sauce at a Farmers Market this morning! The tomato sauce base was very interesting, and it combined with the ginger-cilantro to give it a distinctive central asian flavor.
There was a hotter version that used habaneros, but i found this ‘medium’ to be the best heat-flavor ratio.
Recommended to pair with dumplings or noodles, but could also be used for tacos or breakfast. You can also combine it with soy sauce to use with other asian dishes, or with ketchup to pair with potatoes. Im gonna try the ketchup combo with burgers tonight!
