I make this same recipe but we call it unstuffed peppers. My brother in law from Kentucky made this for us everytime we got together. ❤Luv it thanx alot

That looks de-lish-us!! I make a very similar recipe using breakfast sausage, brown rice and half chicken broth/half beef broth, everything else is pretty much the same. It's so good! My silly husband won't eat traditional stuffed peppers, but he'll eat the "deconstructed" skillet version. Go figure. I don't mind, though, 'cause this version is easier to make, I think.
Making it today no peeking lol I'm waiting for it to come out of the oven.I had to put it in a glass baking dish covered tightly with foil.because i'm not sure my frying pan and glass lid can go in the oven hubby.said he can't wait to taste it! l o l My son is coming over too we're all in the kitchen with talli faye ❤
I don't like making stuffed bell peppers or stuffed cabbage. I love skillet recipes that are one-pot meals. They're much easier than doing all of that work. This recipe looks wonderful. I can't wait to try it. I like to leave a little bit of my hamburger grease in my recipes as well.

My mother made this with the addition of a tablespoon of Mustard. She called it Spanish Rice 😋 Deliciousness ✌️❤️🙏🕊🥰
