    🌶️My kids love red hot chilis….but I'm partial to the green. They aren't too hot for this grandma. I admit I used Swiss cheese for what I call,

  4. Back in the 80s we used Lawry's Seasoned Salt and covered the pan with aluminum foil and baked the rice in the oven.

  10. I love rice but I have never cared for Mexican rice. I use the same seasonings in other dishes so I should like it but for some reason I don’t. Give me refried or black beans. I do love enchiladas verde.

  11. Both are one of my favorites plus, there's always a bowl of Mexican Rice in the refridge as a side for just about everything, especially fried eggs !

  14. There was a chain in San Antonio when I was there for training . They had THE BEST Green Chicken Enchiladas. I can't remember the name, but I'm sure they're still around.

  15. I love chili verdé carnitas with refried beans. 2 eggs over easy and 2 or 3 warm flour tortillas with a hot cup of coffee .
