Try this unique Croissant Style Samosa recipe – a crispy and fun twist on the classic Indian samosa. Instead of the traditional shape, the samosa is rolled like a mini croissant which makes it look beautiful and extra crunchy.

Perfect for evening tea snacks, parties, or quick homemade treats.

Ingredients

For Dough
• Maida (all-purpose flour)
• Ajwain
• Black jeera (kalonji)
• Oil
• Water

For Stuffing
• Boiled potatoes
• Salt
• Red chilli powder
• Haldi (turmeric)
• Coriander powder
• Black salt
• Corn flour
• Fresh coriander leaves

Method
1. Prepare samosa dough using maida, ajwain, black jeera, oil and water. Knead into a firm dough.
2. For stuffing, mash boiled potatoes and mix with salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, black salt, corn flour and coriander leaves.
3. Roll the dough into a big roti.
4. Spread the potato stuffing evenly over it.
5. Cut into triangle strips.
6. Roll each triangle like a mini croissant shape.
7. Deep fry until golden and crispy.

Enjoy these crispy croissant samosas with chutney or ketchup.
